Keely isn’t going to tell but she wants everyone to know.  But they must know, they must be able to see it.  Can’t they?  Isn’t there a visible change?  She imagined a new hue to her aura.   Keely didn’t really talk in terms of auras but she remembered seeing that book in her Tante Marie’s room one summer.   There was a woman on the cover with long hair and closed eyes.  She was standing naked with a rainbow of outlines around her.  Tante Marie said that everyone has auras but most people only emanate one or two colors.  The happier people were in their lives the more colors they had.  Since Monday night Keely feels like a super sized rainbow.

Surely everyone who had been at the coffee shop knew, maybe they saw the colors fading in and coming to life.  But maybe they didn’t.  She should tell them.  They should know that they were there the night her rainbow was born.  But she has to trust everyone sees it, it’s not the kind of thing you just blurt out.
